The Santa Maria Assunta Church is a newly renovated church placed in Coriano.
Inaugurated in 1956, this imposing church, that strikes the visitor from the outside thanks to its 47 m tall bell tower, however, tried to resume traditional elements of this territory, as the squared plan and the use of brick. The Santa Maria Assunta Church, thanks to the diocese bubble, has been declared Santuario del SS Crocifisso with a three-yearly festival (the third Sunday of September) to celebrate the Crucifix. In front of the church there are the gardens with a monument dedicated to World War II fallens, made of large metal rods that run in a semicircle, giving rise to a strong sense of insecurity and extremely evocative drama.
