The Church of San Nicola in Cesenatico was originally known as the Capuccini Fathers of the Church dedicated to Saint Nicola of Mira and Francesco Di Paola, the patron of seafarers. It was built in 1611 and shortly after the monastery was established. The present facade dates back to 1957 and was superimposed on the original while the interior walls are of the seventeenth century. Inside the Church of San Nicola are preserved seventeenth-century paintings of good quality.
